Fees and billing
We are transparent: we agree our fees in advance and keep detailed records of our work, so you always know how much you are paying and what for. Our fee arrangements reflect the nature of the matter and our relationship with the client.
Monthly retainer

A fixed monthly fee covering an agreed number of hours of legal advice. This arrangement helps clients plan their budgets and agree tailored terms of engagement. Under a service level agreement (SLA), we guarantee an agreed standard of service with a dedicated contact person.
Hourly billing

Fees are based on an individually agreed hourly rate. This is our preferred model for occasional engagements or where the scope of the services required cannot be estimated precisely. We place particular emphasis on transparent financial arrangements and keeping clients fully informed of the expenses incurred in carrying out the engagement. We can agree a maximum project budget or a threshold above which additional authorisation is required.
Fixed fee

An agreed fixed amount for handling a matter or providing legal services on a defined project. The cost of advice is known in advance, regardless of the time we actually spend on the engagement. The fee may be paid in instalments, including a partial advance payment.
Success fee

A fee, usually calculated as a percentage, for achieving an agreed objective or outcome and measurable results from our team’s work. Used in litigation, negotiations with counterparties or other circumstances agreed with the client.
